Myofascial Release with Percussor therapy

The Erchonia Percussor device is a hand-held mechanical therapy tool used by the therapist to address the myofascial system of the body. The application of the tool applies a combination of vibration and a twisting release technique. The fascia is another component of your body’s soft tissue in addition to muscles, tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Your fascial network is like a web throughout your entire body that helps bind all parts of your body together down to the cellular level. Myofascia is the combination of muscles and fascia working together, which should slide and glide over one another during movement. However, because of past injuries, or repetitive actions areas of tissue can become thickened or inflamed causing a pull on the whole web of fascia. Your fascial network is rich in sensory nerve endings, and gentle pressure on your fascia with the vibration of the percussor helps to communicate to your nervous system that there is no longer any need for increased tension in that area.

This therapy is often used before any hands on massage techniques are applied to ready the body even more for a deep therapeutic release of tension.

1Cancelation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients and out of consideration for the therapists’ time, I have adopted the following policies: 12 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give a 12 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
2No Shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged 50% for their “missed” appointment and future service will require pre-payment.
3Arriving Late
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

I Look Forward to Serving You
